The adapter plate serves as a connecting element between the stud screw and the mounting profile. The stick screw is screwed into the roof\u2019s substructure with its wood thread. Outside the roof, the adapter plate is then clamped into the round hole between two pre-assembled locking teeth nuts of the stud screw.<\/p>\n
The position and height of the adapter plate can be adjusted freely along the metric thread of the stud screw. The M10 screw of the mounting profile (either a hex bolt DIN 933 or a Profiness hammer head screw 9664-2-10 25) is countersunk in the slotted hole of the adapter plate with a 10 mm locking tooth nut.<\/p>\n
It is advisable to choose the position of the adapter plate as close as possible to the roof in order to minimize leverage.
