Floor screws are used to fasten trapezoidal sheet, welleternit and corrugated metal roofs with a wooden substructure. The length of the screw varies depending on local conditions, depending on factors such as the height of the beading, possibly the height of the batten and the insulation.<\/p>\n
An additional adapter plate is mounted between the two upper locking teeth nuts and serves as a base for connecting to the mounting rail.<\/p>\n
For the installation of floor screws on Eternitd\u00e4cher it is recommended to use an additional aluminium dome if a static verification according to building authority approval is required.<\/p>\n
The solar fixture consists of two separate parts, unlike stick screws for wooden substructures. The length of the lower part, including the EPDM seal, is determined on site according to the required clamping area. The clamping range is the distance between the screw-in point on the wooden beam and the support point of the EPDM sealing disc, for example the highest point of the upper bead. The lower part of the solar fixture should be at least 2 cm longer than the clamping area. The thread of the solar fixers is not longer than 7 cm even for longer lengths, as it is screwed into the wooden beams only a few millimeters at the end. The upper part, metric thread, is always 50 mm long with an M10 thread for mounting the adapter plate.
